Exterior Signage for Leeds Discovery Centre

We are lucky to work with some really really interesting companies but the Discovery Centre has to be up there as being one of the most fascinating.

It’s a purpose built storage facility owned by Leeds Museums and Galleries and it’s full of wonderful historical and cultural artefacts – over one million individual pieces to be exact!

Brief:

The team at Leeds Museums and Galleries came to us for help with external signage as the Discovery Centre was having a makeover following an extensive rebranding project.

Challenges:

Although there was a broad selection of different signs to make, this was a straightforward project for us. Our toughest challenge was resisting the urge to take a sneak peek in the museum store…there’s everything from curious creatures to antique textiles and historical games.

Solutions:

Working to the Leeds Museum’s brand guidelines we produced:

Cut letter window vinyls and window tints
Double-sided tray signs
And a selection of directional wayfinding signs and car parking signage
